  • Activists from environmental group XR (Extinction Rebellion) celebrate Low tide hearth fire ceremony on Monday, Aug 31, 2020, by the river Thames opposite South Bank in central London. Participants said that the importance of this 'sacred rebellion' is kindling flames to light up the dark, to illuminate our most essential truths. This is a ceremony which aims to connect and ignite courage for challenges we may not feel prepared for. This is an event which leads into and links with 'Light the Beacons' global sunset event.
