  • March 19, 2020, London, England, United Kingdom: In this picture, homeless men and women are seen queuing for food and free medical supplies by SWAT (Sikh Welfare and Awareness Team) in front of Zimbabwe Embassy in central London on Thursday, March 19, 2020. ..Homeless people in the United Kingdom are facing the risk of death from Coronavirus as they're the most vulnerable in regards to protection against Covid-19. Many homeless men and women are seen in central London, the British capital throughout the week, while the government is increasing pressures on its residents to self-isolate. Last years alone, 320,000 people were recorded as homeless in Britain, analysis from housing charity Shelter suggests. It is a rise of 13,000, or 4%, on last year's figures and equivalent to 36 new people becoming homeless every day. But the question is, where would they be isolating themselves when there’s no home for them?..For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia. (Credit Image: © Vedat Xhymshiti/ZUMA Wire)
