Kosovo Albanians Protest Removal Of Presevo Monument

Jan. 26, 2013 - Pristina, Kosovo, Kosovo - Several thousands of Kosovo Albanians, gathered together in Pristina, Kosovo’s capital city on Saturday, January 26, 2013, to protest the removal of the monument of (Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvegja and Bujanovac) LAPMB ethnic Albanian hero fighters who was battling Serbia during 2000/’01 conflict in southern Serbia. Serbian authorities removed the monument on January 20th, 2013, after several official warning to ethnic Albanian local authorities in southern Serbia municipality of Presevo, which is lead by ethnic Albanians, a territory predominated by ethnic Albanians.
