George Freeman is a British Conservative Party politician, who has served as the Member of Parliament for Mid Norfolk since 2010. He served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Science, Research and Innovation from September 2021 until his recent resignation in July 2022, being amongst over fifty party members to cause the resignation of British PM Boris Johnson.
